Grays Wharf is a new venue for the arts in Penryn housing studios, events and
Secured in 2017 by artist Hannah Woodman and jeweller Mirri Damer, the phased development
of Grays Wharf to provide quality, affordable workspaces for creative professionals, alongside a new art
gallery and additional workshop/lecture space is almost complete.
Nine new artist studios are fully occupied on the first floor, you can find out more about them here.
Under the guidance of creative producer Megan Beck, GW Arts Community Interest Company has been
formed to take over the running of the ground floor to provide further workspaces and a programme of
exhibitions, courses, workshops, films and talks. Completion of works is scheduled for early Summer 2019.
Our ethos is to support creative professionals within a vibrant, cultural hub and promote access to quality
art and design practice for all. We look forward to welcoming you at future events.
Grays Wharf launched in November 2018 with its first group show of work by the new studio occupants.
Plans for Grays Wharf include:
A vibrant Arts Programme of exhibitions, events and residencies.
An Education Programme of courses, workshops and talks.
A Studio Programme to support the artists and designers at Grays Wharf through affordable work space
and opportunities to exhibit work, teach classes and share skills and knowledge.
